The Easter Train leaves the Kettle Valley Steam Railway station on Saturday, April 19th at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The Easter Bunny will visit and there will be goody bags for the kids. Reservations are a must, call 250.494.8422 for information.

Summerland Badminton Club - Dinner & Dance Party
The Summerland Badminton Club is hosting a Dinner & Dance at the Harold Simpson Memorial Youth Centre on Saturday, May 3rd. Come out and join the club members on this fun packed evening. There will be door prizes, a silent auction, a dessert auction, a badminton skill raffle and fabulous food. Cocktails at 5:30 pm followed by dinner at 6:30 and then dancing from 8:00 to midnight. Friends of the Garden Annual "Spring Plant Sale" - May 4, 2014
Join our Credit Union Community Team at the annual Friends of the Garden Spring Plant Sale at the Summerland Ornamental Gardens on May 4th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please note that this fundraising event has been shortened this year to a one day event and will take place only on Sunday, May 4th.
The 4th Annual Duck Race
Come and join the fun as the Kinette Club of Penticton presents their 4th annual Duck Race on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 am on the Penticton River Channel at Green Mountain Road. Watch the Duck Drop, then head down to the finish line at Skaha Lake for a BBQ and some free family fun. Cash prizes: 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500 plus 10 - $50 random draws. Tickets are $5 Bucks a Duck with proceeds going to the OSNS Child Development Centre, local youth groups and the SOSMF Children's Ward Pediatrics.
Giants Head Grind - May 17th!
Runners, walkers and crawlers alike are invited to "climb the Giant" in Summerland, BC from Peach Orchard Park to Giants Head Peak. For registered participants there is a complimentary buffet breakfast, yoga in the park, a post-race BBQ followed by an awards presentation.
