The Summerland Credit Union presents A New Economy

Are you interested in learning more about alternative business models? If so, you'll want to join us for the presentation of A New Economy. This documentary film profiles several innovative and cooperative businesses around North America including a micro-brewery, inner-city farm and housing project. The film will be shown on Wed. Nov. 16 at Centre Stage Theatre. Doors at 6:30pm, film at 7pm, panel discussion from 8:30-9pm. Admission is by donation to the Summerland Food Bank. Everyone is welcome but seating is limited. Film & Conversation Series

The Summerland Healthy Community Initiative invites you to its "Film & Conversation Series." Each month the SHCI will feature a different film on topics ranging from mental health to the environment. The films will be followed by a community discussion with guest panelists, and locally-sourced refreshments. Admission is free. Event nights are: Sept 20, Oct 18, Nov 22 and Jan 24 at Centre Stage Theatre. Doors at 6pm.
