The Summerland Credit Union is seeking a part-time Member Service Representative to join our team. The successful applicant will enjoy working with the public, possess superior customer service and communication skills, and be willing to work flexible hours. Previous credit union or banking teller experience would be an asset but is not required. Summerland Secondary School Presents "Mary Poppins"

Prepare to be entertained! Support the young actors and actresses in our community by attending Summerland Secondary School's production of "Mary Poppins" running February 10-13 and 17-20. All shows start at 7pm at Centre Stage Theatre. Tickets are $13 and are available at the Beanery Cafe or the Summerland Secondary office.


Philosopher's Cafe

What does "healthy living" mean to you? Discover how your everyday actions impact your health and those around you. Join Louise Blais, a Summerland resident and professor of Human Kinetics at Okanagan College, to explore the concept of healthy living at this month's Philosopher's Cafe. Be part of the discussion Wednesday, February 17 at the IOOF Hall. Doors at 6:30pm.

The Summerland Credit Union is once again proud to sponsor the "Business of the Year" award at the 78th Annual Summerland Business & Community Awards. From February 3 to 17, chamber members are invited to vote for their favourite businesses in 12 different categories. Concert for a Cure

Enjoy a night of live music performed by three local and talented musicians. All proceeds from "Concert for a Cure" will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The event is happening Saturday, March 12 at the Centre Stage Theatre at 7pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Beanery Cafe or Prima Pizza.


Giant's Head Grind

Mark your calendar and start training now! Registration is open for the 3rd Annual Giant's Head Grind - Christopher Walker Memorial Race. Walk, run or crawl from Peach Orchard Park to the top of Giant's Head. This fun family event is open to all ages. Race day is Saturday, May 21, 2016.
